No Bully brings Broadway Against Bullying to New York City

After the enthusiastic reception of Broadway Against Bullying in San Francisco, No Bully is bringing its cabaret fundraiser to New York City on Monday February 8, 2016 at 7 pm at Feinstein’s 54 Below, Supper Club. Broadway Against Bullying is a one-night-only event aimed at benefiting No Bully and its work to end bullying in schools.

I work in an elementary school in Oakland, California.  Our kids are in kindergarten through fifth grade.  Cyberspace is now a big part of their lives.  They are always texting each other.  In a good and bad way. Many of them have accounts on Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.  They even ask me to friend them on Facebook (which I decline).

I’m a Solution Coach in the Oakland Unified School District. Recently Emilio was referred to me. Emilio is ten years old and did not want to come to school any more because the other kids in the fifth grade were picking on him. I had noticed Emilio, always alone in recess. He is an unusual kid but things now had gotten way more intense than him just self-isolating.

We are excited to announce the launch of No Bully Portugal!   Over thirty percent of children in Portugal are bullied [1]. No Bully Portugal has been licensed to deliver the No Bully program to schools in Portugal.  Our goal is to catalyze action to ensure that no child in Portugal has to suffer bullying and to train public and private schools in the award winning No Bully System® to end it.
