About us

Our Story

We’re rooted in personal experience.

Having been bullied relentlessly as a teenager, Nicholas Carlisle, our founder, wanted to ensure that other children did not have to endure the same abuse that he experienced in his formative years. So in 2003, Nicholas established No Bully, which began as a collaborative team of educators, psychologists, and lawyers committed to building a kinder and more compassionate world as a means of ending the crisis of bullying in schools and online.

Over the last decade, we have become the nation’s preeminent anti-bullying organization. Since its founding, No Bully has had a 90% success rate, eliminating incidents of bullying while serving hundreds of schools and over 300,000 students.

We have reached millions of people through our global impact campaigns, where we partnered with leading organizations such as ESPN, Hasbro, Major League Baseball, and Burger King, just to name a few. We are continuously developing new and creative strategies to bring more awareness to the bullying epidemic.

Our Team

We are compassionate, kind, inclusive, strong, and generous in spirit.

Each one of us has our own personal bullying story, and we hold the work of preventing and stopping bullying near and dear to our hearts. We try to live out our mission every day, igniting compassion both in our office and around the world!

Our Sponsors

We are proud to work with our sponsors to make every childhood bully-free.

No Bully has teamed up with some of the largest global organizations to combat bullying and ignite compassion. We have built strong collaborative campaigns across countries and sectors, aiming to change youth norms and make bullying uncool and unacceptable.

Our Board

Our board of directors guides our strategy and is composed of people representing different backgrounds, organizations, and demographics.

Together with our staff and trainers, our board of directors works tirelessly to ensure that No Bully uses its resources wisely, spreads the word about bullying prevention, and meets the needs of every school community in need.
